Assignment #7. Groups or Individuals in our Society that live in Poverty.

The group of single parents exprience poverty. The can be because the other parent refuses to pay child support or the parent is forced to work long days at jobs where they make close to nothing anyway just so that the children have a decent life and the amount of money going out is more than whats coming in . But this can also be a bad thing for the children when they are younger and living with a single parent because they never get to see their parent and they don’t get the same support as a parent that sees them more. The parent is working to make ends meet in a time now that things are just escalading up in price and becoming way too expensive to afford. This can be in all ages or genders. But primarily people just belive that the women are the single parents but this isn’t always the case. This can happen all over the place and it is not just subjected to a certain part of the city or country.  Not having enough money at the end of the month or such to pay bills is a big problem right now. Renting a place is just so high that its really hard to find a cheap, decent place now a days. Working long hard days just to make the ends meet can be very tolling on the parent. It is hard to overcome poverty anywhere. It’s a cycle that takes a lot just to get out of. But there is social assistance where they can get money to assist in survival. For the parents that may be disabled and single this can be hardship. They not only have to take care of themselves differently they also have children that may be dependant which can cause problems. But there is programs or assistance to help them out and have a normal, happy life.
